Lifeline offers a variety of support services to women and men in Northeast Missouri in need of help and community resources. All of these support services are offered at no cost.

Pregnancy can come with a lot of questions. This is why we have PLANS, which stands for Parenting Lessons and Nurturing Supplies. This program has a simple premise. Moms and dads complete a lesson on topics such as labor and delivery, breastfeeding, postpartum care, and more. They earn points that they can spend in our baby boutique which is full of maternity and baby care supplies.

Lifeline’s Adventures of Parenting program aims to prepare moms and dads to successfully navigate the challenges of parenthood. New and expecting parents participate in free interactive lessons on parenting topics such as communication, bonding, and child safety. These lessons are paired with one-on-one support and coaching.

Pregnancy involves much more than just taking a test and having an ultrasound. We partner with agencies that offer a variety of services, like medical care, housing, education, jobs, and insurance.

Lifeline offers tutoring for new moms and dads wanting to take the HiSET (the High School Equivalency Exam). Our tutor has experience with adult learners and offers no-cost tutoring sessions and on-site testing at our clinic.

Lifeline’s licensed counselor supports expectant and new parents as they navigate emotional challenges of new parenthood. Our counselor specializes in topics of unexpected pregnancy, healthy relationships, and trauma. Lifeline can also refer to other local counselors and community resources.

Lifeline offers professional car seat installation services for new and expecting moms and dads. During the installation appointment, our staff will ensure that the car seat matches the size needs of the child, manufacturer and vehicle safety guidelines, and that the car seat is correctly placed in the vehicle. The installation is performed by a certified child passenger safety technician.

Lifeline provides childbirth education taught by a nurse certified in obstetrics. These classes provide information about labor and delivery, pain management, and supporting a partner through childbirth.

Lifeline offers hands-on, in-person training in adult, toddler, and infant CPR and first aid. The classes are taught by a Lifeline instructor certified through the American Heart Association.
